Due to its crystalline structure, absorption of DIM is minimal when given orally. This supplement is manufactured for enhanced nutrient absorption and bioavailability. This process utilizes a proprietary blend of medium-chain triglyceride (MCT), quillaja extract, and tocotrienols, without the use of potentially harmful surfactants. Research indicates that low levels of the 2-hydroxyestrone and high levels of 16 alpha-hydroxyestrone are not desired. DIM works by helping to promote 2-hydroxyestrone production, supporting a healthy 2:16 hydroxyestrone ratio.*
