Yeast-Free Cilantro Garlic Hummus Recipe

If you're a fan of garlic and hummus, then you're in for a real treat today. We took both of these yummy ingredients and created one of our favorite hummus recipes. You'll never want to buy store-bought hummus again.

You can use hummus as a dip for just about any vegetable, including celery, carrots, bell peppers, broccoli florets and cherry tomatoes. Get creative!

 Yeast-Free Cilantro Garlic Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 C chickpeas, drained
  • 1/2 C tahini
  • 1/2 C olive oil
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1/2 T garlic salt
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toss all ingredients into your blender or Vitamix and blend well for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add water as needed to meet desired consistency.
  3. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
